Picture Perfect

Do you love the 50s inspired trends? If you do then this beautiful, fun and creative 50s inspired Americana Manhasset's Spring 2012 Campaign is going to fill your thoughts and senses up with that playful and family centered yet carefree retro filled spirit. A beautiful color palette that's filled with fun retro colors from candy pastels and citrusy brights to sporty neons, florals, sea shades, earth tones and neutrals inject a perfect 50's feel to these below looks. Prints and motifs are charming ranging from floral, geometric, painter's palette, automobile inspired and tribal to tropical, animal and color block. Pieces in the campaign include from Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Oscar De La Renta to Prada, Armani, Burberry and Tory Burch.

Video Clip - The Makings of the "I love Americana" campaign

Beautiful and fun retro inspired home decor and props such as glass based milk bottles, bright 50s inspired chairs, rotary dial phones, record players and retro cars add so much fun to these campaign pictures. The making of the video captures the fun 50s retro spirit as well (see video above). They even added kids, a husband and dogs to paint a perfect 50s family scene. Karlie looks perfectly ladylike, high-spirited and dressed up for every occasion, which includes activities that are not only nurturing such as cooking, serving lemonade and cleaning but also activities that show her creative or free-spirited side such as taking pictures, playing golf, riding a bicycle and dancing. Some of these clothes have a touch of modern feel to them but the hair, makeup and the background infuse a major 50s retro appeal to take away any heavy shadow of modern appeal. What do you think of this campaign?  Do you love these pictures?  Would love to know your views.

  18. Wow, these are some of the most stunning retro photos I've seen. I really like all the backgrounds too and how they are so bright and go with the bold prints and lady like looks. The guy's looks are hot too and I think my fave is that lime striped dress with the tall grass. I'm going to save this post cause I loved looking at these and the 50s were one of my favorite eras.
