Do you like the wet hair trend that's in for this Spring and Summer? This might be a tricky trend to adopt but it can look amazing if done right. Some of the designers who adopted this trend for Spring / Summer 2012 include Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang, BCBG, Felder Felder, Helmut Lang, Lanvin, YSL, Victoria Bekham, Ports 1961, Donna Karan, Diesel Black Gold, Elie Saab, Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Giambattista Valli and Alberta Ferrati. I especially loved the wet chignons that were seen on Bottega Veneta show. I also loved the wet hair looks from Diesel Black Gold, Elie Saab and Chanel. These below looks can easily transition from runways to streets. Take a look...
Love it? Well, according to Redken's creative consultant, Guido, this look can be easily created by using a volumising mousse on wet hair and then saturating the hair with argan oil once it's completely dry. Click here if you need more details on how to get the perfect wet hair look as seen on the Bottega Veneta show. By the way, my next giveaway includes Josie Maran's Argan oil so stay tuned. Do you like these wet hair looks? Would you try these looks? Let me know what you think. :)

I always liked the wet-hair do's. Though I can't say that they really suit me. The hair at Chanel S/S 12 catwalk are mind blowing! All that pearls in! I truly, truly fell in love!

I think the wet hair look is cool and it was stunning on the runways but it's not for me personally as I don't think I could pull it off and I'm a little lazy about my hair lol.

ReplyDeleteand had no idea it was in style :P Goody!
Now, regardless of the above humor (although absolute truth) I like the buns so much!
Heard Olsen twins go out with wet hair and that's their secret for getting that effortless look. :)
DeleteI think Chanel has taken wet hair to a new level with their pearls!

I'm not sure I like the wet hair look. i wouldn't be able to pull it off. i would just look like I have greasy hair! :P
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. It's not easy to make this trend look good..unless you have a professional crew of makeup artists and hair stylists. :)
DeleteWonderful and creative trend, i like the quote very much.

Loving the pearls in their hair.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Enjoy the weekend. xx
I use to create these looks a lot when I had long hair. I found they worked well for darling ponies without hurting my head. I have to say I LOVE these looks but I am not the biggest fan of this look with short locks. These are all gorgeous!
