Have you seen Lula Magazine's Winter 2012 edition? This below editorial on it titled "On a throne in the sky" really caught my eye. A dreamy and dark fall editorial with beautifully delicate and edgy fabrics, distressed nature inspired motifs, carefree youthful child-like braids, leather collars, head scarves and a country background theme with dark dusky colors as a base for styling the looks. The color palette is gorgeous with major fall colors such as oxblood, olympian blue, dark french roast, honey yellow, smoky rose and grayed down lavender / lilacs making up the palette. Take a look.
A dreamy, modern and dark take on a sweet and feminine country girl theme. I love the sweet, girly and feminine appeal in this editorial coupled with a hauntingly dark and dusky color palatte. Do you like this editorial? What do you think of these looks?

There is a connection there. Probably the richness and delicate details at the edges? I love Renaissance details..they were really feminine and intricate :)
DeleteI love the dreamy femininity this editorial exudes. There is a charming touch of innocence to the look of the model which is sweet. I am coveting that black dress in that second to last shot :)
